Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the newest Gundam series produced by Sunrise and Studio Khara with screenplay by Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anno who both worked on Evangelion.

The series is set in an alternate timeline of the Universal Century/UC where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War. The story takes place five years after that and follows the story of Amate Yuzuriha, an ordinary high school girl who participates in underground mobile suit duels.

Volume 3 of the limited Blu-ray contains episodes 5 to 8 as well as the following:
1. Special storage box with illustration by Take.
2. Booklet (20 pages).
3. Drama CD.
4. Storyboard illustrations (486 pages).
5. Special disk containing cast commentary on episodes 9 to 12.
